Days they remember.

★★★★★

"An extraordinary day on the Tweed. Scott's knowledge of the river is remarkable — he had us into fish within the first hour. Worth every penny and we'll be back."

James R. Edinburgh · Full Day Guided Fishing
★★★★★

"I booked a coaching session before my first club competition. Scott broke down my technique, showed me how to read the water, and I came second. Can't recommend him highly enough."

David M. Glasgow · 1-on-1 Coaching Session
★★★★★

"Bought my husband a day with Scott as a birthday present. He came home talking about it for weeks. A truly memorable experience with a real expert."

Claire T. Peebles · Gift Voucher Day

Everything you need to know.

Not at all. Scott regularly guides complete beginners and provides full casting instruction as part of every session. The half-day introduction is specifically designed for those new to fly fishing.
All tackle, rods, reels, flies, waders and boots are provided as part of every booking. Simply bring comfortable clothes and waterproof layers.
Scotland does not require a national rod licence — a significant advantage over England and Wales. Beat permits are included in your booking fee and arranged by Scott.
Wild brown trout and grayling year-round, Atlantic salmon in season on the Tweed (February–November), and sea trout from late spring. The Clyde is particularly good for technical trout and grayling fishing.
April–June is exceptional for dry fly trout fishing. September–November is the prime salmon and back-end trout season on the Tweed. Grayling fishing is superb through autumn and winter. Scott can advise on the best timing for your goals.
A guided day focuses on having a great experience and catching fish. Coaching sessions are structured around improving your technique, river craft and — for competitive anglers — your tournament performance. Both take place on real working river beats.
Full details are in our Terms & Conditions. In short — cancellations made more than 14 days in advance receive a full refund. Within 14 days, we do our best to rebook you on a suitable alternative date.
Yes — Scott can arrange small group sessions for up to four people, including corporate days and special occasions. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements and dates.
